Howard's Happy Hour Drinkmasters is a Toastmasters club which is open to all.  We meet at Bagpipes Pub & Eatery on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month ($2 burger day) at 5:45 pm.

 

Each meeting gives everyone an opportunity to practice conducting meetings, giving impromptu speeches, presenting prepared speeches, and offering constructive evaluation.  Each new Toastmaster works through a manual of 10 speeches, working on the basic speaking skills, and each speech is 5-7 minutes.   Generally you will write a speech roughly every 2 months.  Once you've completed your first manual, you may choose two advanced manuals, further sharpening your skills.

 

Our club usually has 8-12 showing up any given meeting.  You will have an opportunity to select different meeting roles each week, eventually becoming comfortable in all roles and situations.  We have a happy hour theme.  If you're looking for a club with a very laid-back meeting, we're the club for you!  We have a great mix of experienced members and brand new members.
